Hull set to appoint Silva

Hull City have agreed a deal to make Marco Silva their new head coach and he could be appointed today, according to Sky sources.
Silva will replace Mike Phelan, who was sacked on Tuesday after less than three months in charge.
The Portuguese coach held talks with the Tigers on Wednesday about becoming their third manager since they won promotion to the Premier League in May.
Silva has been out of work since the summer, when he quit Greek club Olympiakos for personal reasons after leading the club to a record 43rd domestic title in his sole season in charge.
The 39-year-old had previously spent three years in charge of Estoril, leading them to promotion to Portugal’s top division as champions in 2011/12 and being named Liga de Honra manager of the year.
