Sampson names England squad

Rachel Williams returns to the England squad for the first time since 2013 after manager Mark Sampson named an expanded 28-player selection.
Notts County striker Williams last played for England in their successful 2013 Cyprus Cup campaign, but will once again be part of the set-up their first fixtures of 2017.
England will travel to Murcia later this month where they will face Norway at La Manga Club (on Sunday January 22) and Sweden at the Pinatar Arena (on Tuesday January 24).
Williams’ Notts County team-mates Ellen White and Carly Telford are back following injuries, while Chelsea duo Millie Bright and Claire Rafferty are also recalled to the squad as they continue preparations for this summer’s European Championships in the Netherlands.
