UFC 207 Medical Suspensions: Ronda Rousey Sidelined 45 Days Following TKO Defeat

There’s no guarantee that Ronda Rousey will ever return to the Octagon following UFC 207, but at the very minimum, the ex-bantamweight queen will be out for 45 days following last Friday’s event.The Nevada Athletic Commission on Tuesday released a list of medical suspensions from UFC 207, which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Jan. 30. In her first bout since November 2015, Rousey was battered by punches and stopped 48 seconds into the opening stanza of her headlining clash with reigning champion Amanda Nunes. Nunes did not receive a medical suspension. In the co-main event, Cody Garbrandt captured the bantamweight strap with a five-round verdict against Dominick Cruz.
