Will Kennedy needs Ascot winner

Will Kennedy is no desperate hurry to look for a ride at Ascot, the only domestic racecourse he has yet to secure a winner, after he closed in on the clean sweep when victorious on Desert Cry at Ayr on Monday.
Since having the first of more than 300 winners in the 2003-04 season, Kennedy has enjoyed success at every track on these shores except at the Berkshire venue.
While he would like to fill in the gap, he is happy being based in the north with Cheshire handler Donald McCain.
“It’s a gimmicky little thing, but it would be nice to do it,” said Kennedy.
