Arcia, Dahl, Turner among top prospect performers Wednesday

Orlando Arcia couldn’t have picked a better time to hit his first home run of the season.
The Brewers’ No. 1 prospect delivered a walk-off, three-run home run for Triple-A Colorado Springs in the bottom of the seventh inning to beat Nashville in the first game of a doubleheader, 5-4.
Facing a 4-2 deficit headed into their final at-bat, Sky Sox left fielder Eric Young Jr. opened the inning with a single and then advanced to third base on Keon Broxton’s double. Arcia, who batted in the two-hole Wednesday, followed with his first Triple-A home run, driving a 1-0 offering from Angel Castro over the right field wall.
Arcia, the No. 5 overall prospect on MLBPipeline.com’s Top 100, finished 2-for-4 at the plate drove in four of the Sky Sox’s five runs in the contest, as he also started his team’s scoring with an RBI single in the third inning. The 21-year-old shortstop has collected multiple hits in four of his first 12 games and is hitting .289 on the season.

• No. 44 overall prospect David Dahl (Rockies’ No. 3) went 2-for-5 and hit his sixth home run of the season to reclaim a share of the Minor League lead in Double-A Hartford’s win against New Hampshire. The 22-year-old outfielder, who’s hitting .246/.281/.590 through 14 games, has now hit as many long balls this season as he did across 79 games in 2015.
