DustanMoreiraSpanish Forward Dustan Moreira (202-F-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for UCD Marian, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.The 27-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 20 rebounds, while his team crushed Moycullen (#7, 5-7) with 21-point margin 92-71. UCD Marian maintains the 3rd position in Irish Super League. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. UCD Marian will need more victories to improve their 9-3 record. It’s Moreira’s second year at UCD Marian and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Dustan Moreira has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in rebounds (4th best: 13.3rpg) and averages impressive 1.6bpg and 58.3% FGP.The second best player in last round’s games was 33-year old Paul Freeman (201-F-83) of Moycullen. Freeman had a very good evening with a double-double of 21 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Moycullen lost that game 71-92 to the higher-ranked UCD Marian (#3, 9-3).
