Vertonghen hails ‘strongest’ Spurs

Jan Vertonghen believes Tottenham’s squad is the strongest he has played in since he joined the club.
The Belgian joined the club from Ajax in 2012 and played a key role as the club launched a major Premier League title challenge last season.
Tottenham host Chelsea on Wednesday, live on Sky Sports 1HD, having won their last four games and Vertonghen believes they now have an improved squad depth which helped them cover injuries to key players like Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld earlier this season.
