Noles Beat Boston College 4-1 to Advance at ACC Tournament

Cary, N.C. – Junior Daniela Schippers won her third match of the season, and second against Boston College, in 12-seed FSU’s 4-1 win over the 13-seed Eagles in the first round of the ACC Tournament Wednesday afternoon. Along with Schippers, the Noles got wins from freshman Ariana Rahmanparast and sophomore Gabriella Castaneda as well as winning the doubles point.
In doubles, No. 60 Florida State (14-12) used wins on Courts 1 and 2 to open a 1-0 lead. On Court 1, Castaneda and senior Yukako Noi improved to 4-1 on the season, all in the last five matches, with a 6-2 win over Lexi Borr …
