Derry Mathews says Ohara Davies will “run away” if their grudge fight goes ahead this year.
The British rivals have been trading insults on Twitter and could settle their social media feud in the coming months, with Mathews happy to step up to super-lightweight to face Davies.
With 11 knockouts in 14 wins, the unbeaten Davies has vowed to settle their differences with another explosive victory, but Mathews insists the 24-year-old will go into survival mode once they start trading punches.
