Allardyce: Swansea game vital

Sam Allardyce has pinpointed Tuesday’s game against Swansea City as vital to Crystal Palace’s survival hopes.
Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Arsenal left Allardyce’s new club in 17th place and with a total of only 16 points from 19 games.
But the former England manager does not feel games against the division’s leading sides will be significant for any of the teams fighting relegation, and that it is the results secured against those clubs around them which will define Palace’s season.
“Our players need to get ready for Swansea on Tuesday night – that’s the big game they need to win,” said Allardyce.
