Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has mocked his detractors who doubted he could succeed in the Premier League.
The 35-year-old Swede finished the year having racked up 50 goals, 17 of them at United following his move from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
After being denied a goal in their last-gasp 2-1 win over Middlesbrough on New Year’s Day, Ibrahimovic will be looking to add to his tally in Monday’s visit to West Ham, live on Sky Sports 1.
He has scored in eight of his past 11 games to confound critics who suggested at the start of the season that the forward could be too old to succeed in English football.
