Ellens Way too good at Warwick

A review of the rest of the action from Warwick on Saturday as Ellens Way caused an upset by beating Copper Kay.
There was a surprise result to the LPS British Stallion Studs EBF Mares’ ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle at Warwick on Saturday, with 12/1 shot Ellens Way narrowly outpointing red-hot favourite Copper Kay.
The Philip Hobbs-trained 4/6 favourite looked home for all money having built up a significant lead heading the final flight, but began to wander on the run-in and Jeremy Scott’s Ellens Way came home strongly to get up by a head.
