Heat set five franchise marks, lead Hornets 2-0

To put it mildly, the Miami Heat were on fire in Game 2 against the Charlotte Hornets.
Charlotte was not on fire.
Theat’s the Cliffs notes on Miami’s 115-103 win over the Hornets on Wednesday, which gave the Heat a 2-0 series lead. Here are three more detailed takeaways:

After shooting 57 percent in Game 1 (50 percent from 3), the Heat set five different franchise playoff records in the first half on Wednesday:
• 74.4 percent shooting in first half
• 72 first-half points
• 29 first-half field goals
• 16 second-quarter field goals
• 43 second-quarter points
