The Elevation Fight Team standout made another significant move in the Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight division, as he claimed a unanimous decision over former champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 207 “Nunes vs. Rousey” on Friday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Magny (19-5, 12-4 UFC) swept the scorecards with matching 29-28 marks.Hendricks (17-6, 12-6 UFC) struck for takedowns in all three rounds but failed to consolidate them with meaningful offense. Magny made the most of his opportunities off his back at the end of the first and third rounds.
