Werth leaves with tightness in left hamstring

MIAMI — Nationals left fielder Jayson Werth exited Wednesday night’s 3-1 win over the Marlins in the bottom of the fifth inning after experiencing tightness in his left hamstring.
The Nationals planned to give Werth the game off for Thursday’s matinee, and manager Dusty Baker said he made the move as a precaution.
