Brighton-Cardiff off due to fog
- Updated: December 30, 2016
Brighton’s Friday night Sky Bet Championship clash with Cardiff has been postponed due to heavy fog.
The Seagulls went top of the Championship when they defeated QPR 3-0 on Tuesday and would have gone five points clear with a win over Cardiff at the Amex Stadium.
However, following a second pitch inspection at 5.45pm, the match was called off following consultation between referee Chris Kavanagh and the two clubs.
