Ray Wilkins has told Premier League Daily that he is not sure whether Paul Clement and Gary Rowett have the Premier League know-how to save Swansea.
The Swans are looking for their third manager of the season, having fired Bob Bradley following their 4-1 Boxing Day defeat at home to West Ham.
Bayern Munich assistant Paul Clement is currently favourite for the job with the bookies and former Birmingham manager Gary Rowett is next in the betting.
But neither has Premier League managerial experience and, with only goal difference keeping the Swans off the bottom of the table, Wilkins thinks a veteran boss may be needed.
