Revaz Rogava Former international Guard Revaz Rogava (191-G-93) had a great game in the last round for Olimpi and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.The 23-year old guard had the game-high 20 points adding seven rebounds and eight assists for Olimpi in his team’s victory, helping them to edge out Batumi (#4, 6-8) 83-82. Olimpi maintains the 7th position in Georgian Superleague. Olimpi is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 4-9 record. In the team’s last game Rogava had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It’s his second year at Olimpi and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Rogava has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in assists (9th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 2.2spg.The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 31-year old Ukrainian point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-PG-85) of Batumi.
