Defoe shrugs off West Ham talk

Jermain Defoe has shrugged off speculation linking him with a move away from Sunderland and says he is enjoying his football in the North East.
Sky sources understand West Ham are interested in re-signing the forward in the new year as they look to bolster their striking options following an injury to Diafra Sakho.
Slaven Bilic on Thursday described Defoe – who scored 41 goals in 105 games for the Hammers between 1999 and 2004 – as a “very good player” but his manager at the Stadium of Light, David Moyes, said there is no price for which he would be willing to sell the player.
