Philippe Coutinho Injury Update: Liverpool Star Ruled Out vs. Manchester City

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has been ruled out of the club’s game against Manchester City at Anfield on New Year’s Eve. Manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed Coutinho won’t be ready to return from his ankle injury in time to face City, per the club’s official Twitter feed.
Klopp also indicated the Reds’ following game away to Sunderland will also be too soon.
