Partick Thistle moved into the top six in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 victory over Dundee at Firhill on Wednesday night.

The Jags found themselves bottom of the league recently but followed up their fine win at Ross County before Christmas with another impressive showing against Paul Hartley’s side.

First-half goals from Callum Booth and Kris Doolan earned Thistle their first victory at home in nine matches and ended Dundee’s seven-match unbeaten run in Maryhill.
