Conte praises ‘fantastic’ record

Antonio Conte has hailed Chelsea’s 12-match winning streak in the Premier League as ‘fantastic’ after breaking the club record on Boxing Day.
The Blues overcame Bournemouth 3-0 on Monday to go nine points clear at the top of the table as well as overtaking their previous victorious run of 11 games which was matched last weekend.
They are two games away from breaking the league record of 14 games – set by Arsenal in the 2001/02 season – and the Italian has praised his side of their feat but also warned against complacency.
“It is fantastic to win 12 games in a row in England,” Conte told Sky Sports after the game.
“This league is very tough and to have that many wins in a row is fantastic. Now, it is important to continue. It is important to think of the next game against Stoke and prepare in the right way.
