Nevada Athletic Commission Pulls Medically ‘Unfit’ Cain Velasquez from UFC 207

The more this crazy world changes, the more things in the Ultimate Fighting Championship stay the same. It was announced late Friday afternoon that former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will not be fighting at UFC 207 after all. In a turn of events that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody, the oft-maligned Velasquez has once again been removed from a bout due to medical issues. Velasquez, who has suffered through a promising career that has been ravaged by injuries, was not allowed to fight next Friday night by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
