Hodgson happy to stay as boss

Roy Hodgson says he has no plans to quit as England manager after Euro 2016 this summer.
Hodgson, 68, is preparing to lead the national side into a third major tournament as manager and says he remains committed to the role.
The former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss took charge of England following Fabio Capello’s abrupt exit prior to Euro 2012 in Ukraine and Poland.
And while England reached the quarter-finals under Hodgson at that tournament, they were then knocked out at the group stage of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
However, the Three Lions bounced back from that disappointment to win all of their qualifying matches for Euro 2016, and Hodgson says he is keen to remain as manager after this summer’s tournament.
“If they want me, it is as simple as that,” he said.
“I think I have tried to say all along – and nothing has really changed – that if the FA want me, if the mood in the country is that they would like me to stay, then I of course am more than happy to stay.
