ARLINGTON — The Rangers and free-agent first baseman Mike Napoli have a strong mutual desire for a reunion, and the two sides continue to have active discussions about that possibility, according to Major League sources.
Although a deal does not appear imminent, all signs suggest the negotiations are headed in that direction if the two sides can reach an agreement on length and value of the contract.
