Vontaze Burfict Injury Update: Bengals LB Ruled Out for Week 16 vs. Texans
- Updated: December 23, 2016
Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict will miss Saturday’s game against the Houston Texans due to a concussion.
Jay Morrison of the Cox Media Group updated Burfict’s status following Friday’s practice.
Burfict, 26, suffered a concussion in Week 15’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was then placed in the league’s concussion protocol, which requires an independent neurologist to clear a player before he can return.
