How to Qualify Live or Online into the Aussie Millions

One of the best tournament festivals just about every serious poker player has their eyes on is the Aussie Millions. For players in Australia, it is the hottest action of the year and one might say it is the hottest action of the winter for others since they can get out of the cold since it is summer time in Australia.

This year’s festival takes place from Jan. 11 to 30 at the Crown Melbourne with 25 action-packed events across 20 days. The highlight of the poker festival is the AUD $10,600 Aussie Millions Main Event taking place from Jan. 22 to 29 with three opening days followed by five more days of action until the latest winner is crowned.

While there are many tournaments on the schedule with lower price points (and higher as well), many players will choose to satellite into the Main Event rather than pay the full cost.
