VaidotasVolkus Experienced Lithuanian Vaidotas Volkus (203-F-85) had an amazing evening in the last round for Parnu and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.The 31-year old forward had the game-high 36 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Parnu as his team lost the game against Nevezis (#3, 6-3) 73-96. Parnu maintains the 6th position in Baltic League . The season is in a full swing, so it’s only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Parnu have already lost 7 games and recorded just two victories. In the team’s last game Volkus had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Parnu’s top player in his first season with the team.
