Liverpool vs. Everton: Score, Reaction from 2016 Premier League Match
- Updated: April 20, 2016
Liverpool bagged a 4-0 win in the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Wednesday, extending 10-man Everton’s winless streak in the Premier League to seven matches.
Goals in quick succession from Divock Origi and Mamadou Sakho gave the hosts a comfortable lead right at the end of the first half, while Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho netted in the second half.
Ramiro Funes Mori saw red for the Toffees early in the second half for a poor challenge on Origi that forced the Belgian to leave the field on a stretcher.
