Matt Forte Injury: Jets RB Confirms Nerve Issue in Shoulder

New York Jets running back Matt Forte said he is dealing with a “nerve issue” in his shoulder and may not play in Saturday’s game against the New England Patriots, per Rich Cimini of ESPN NFL Nation.
Cimini noted Forte said “he won’t play if he can’t protect himself.”
One of the greatest running backs in Chicago Bears history, Forte has experienced an inconsistent first year with the Jets.
