Price confirms Parker contact

David Price has confirmed he was contacted about a possible fight with Joseph Parker and is waiting to find out if he will challenge the WBO heavyweight champion.
The New Zealander’s promoters have revealed that Price is on a shortlist of possible opponents for Parker, who is expected to defend his WBO title on April 8.
Hughie Fury and American Jarrell Miller are also thought to be in contention, but Price hopes he will share the ring with Parker after their proposed fight on Anthony Joshua’s undercard fell through this year.
“My management contacted me yesterday or the day before and said would I be interested in fighting Joseph Parker,” Price exclusively told Sky Sports.
