Slade appointed at Coventry

Coventry City have appointed Russell Slade as their new manager on a deal until the end of the season.
The former Cardiff and Leyton Orient boss had been involved in advanced negotiations with Sky Blues chairman Tim Fisher and a deal has now been reached for Slade to take over.
The 56-year-old will take charge of the side for the first time away at Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day.
