MINNEAPOLIS — The Twins are set to hire Jeff Pickler from the Dodgers’ front office to join manager Paul Molitor’s coaching staff, a Major League source said Tuesday.
The Twins, however, have yet to officially confirm the hiring of Pickler, who has a background in analytics and is expected to serve as a conduit between the front office and coaching staff. His official job title is yet to be announced, as the first-base coach job is open, but the Twins are expected to shuffle roles.
