Antoine Griezmann has revealed his desire to play football in America, and the Atletico Madrid forward says “it would be the best” to turn out for David Beckham’s proposed Miami franchise.
Former Manchester United midfielder Beckham, who spent five years at LA Galaxy, announced his intention to bring a Major League Soccer team to South Florida almost three years ago.
But the 41-year-old has found it difficult to secure a suitable site for a proposed new stadium, with plans for two waterfront sites rejected by local politicians, and a possible development next to the home of baseball’s Miami Marlins also falling through.
