Week 16 of the NFL regular season makes for an interesting dynamic due to a mix of teams that are fighting for the playoffs, have already clinched or are eliminated from contention, meaning they have different motivations.

While a team like the Dallas Cowboys wants to win in order to clinch the NFC East and the No. 1 seed in the conference, the 0-14 Cleveland Browns may want to prevail just as much in order to avoid making history for all the wrong reasons.

Ahead of the second-to-last week of the NFL regular season, here is a full rundown of betting lines and picks for every game, as well as a closer look at the best selections on the slate.

Top Week 16 Picks Browns (+6) vs. Chargers

The Browns are just two losses away from becoming the second 0-16 team in NFL history, and with a road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on tap for Week 17, a home meeting with the San Diego Chargers in Week 16 represents their best chance to avoid that dubious distinction.

San Diego is coming off a home loss to the rival Oakland Raiders, and with more focus on where it will be playing next year than on the remainder of the season, it could be difficult for the players to hone in on Saturday’s game.

A potential move to Los Angeles has loomed over the Chargers for much of the season, and with the team well out of playoff contention, players and coaches figure to be bombarded with questions about it throughout the week leading up to their clash with Cleveland.

To make matters worse, San Diego could once again be without one of its top offensive contributors, as running back Melvin Gordon’s status is uncertain, per the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Cleveland looked fairly listless in a Week 15 road loss to the Buffalo Bills, although quarterback Robert Griffin III showed some flashes of brilliance.
