Kansas State Women’s Basketball Worthy Of Ranking

For the first time in almost 5 seasons, the Kansas State Women’s basketball team is ranked among the nation’s best. They deserve the attention.
For the third straight season, the Wildcat women are off to a 10-1 start for head coach Jeff Mittie and the Kansas State women’s basketball program was elevated on Monday to 24th in the week 7 Associated Press top-25 poll. The last time they were ranked- January 2012.
Mittie has the ‘Cats playing outstanding defense and playing teams others avoid. Their only loss is to the defending national champions. Everyone loses to UConn.
Give Mittie credit for bringing the Huskies to Manhattan. Give the KSU athletic department credit for hiring Mittie.
