Real Madrid transfer ban halved

Real Madrid’s transfer ban has been reduced following a hearing at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
In April the game’s governing body FIFA imposed a one-year suspension – effectively two transfer windows – over alleged breaches of its regulations with respect to the registration of a number of minor players.
