Barcelona Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Gabriel Barbosa and Gabriel Jesus

Gabriel “Gabigol” Barbosa’s time at Inter Milan could already be coming to an end, with plenty of transfer rumours surrounding the former Barcelona target. Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus has revealed he turned down larger offers from other top clubs in favour of Manchester City.
Gabigol made the switch to Inter from Santos during the summer in controversial fashion, as Barcelona had a first option on the Brazilian forward, obtained in the Neymar transfer. As reported by Mundo Deportivo (h/t Goal), the Catalans were furious with the way things were handled and even denounced Santos to FIFA, seeking damages.
The 20-year-old has endured an awful time since then, wasting away on the Inter bench while the Nerazzurri slumped to yet another disappointing start in Serie A. Football Italia shared this image that perfectly sums up his standing at the club right now:

Per Calciomercato, transfer rumours are already swirling, with Inter acknowledging Gabigol could leave as early as January.
Speaking to UOL Esporte (h/t Calciomercato), Santos president Modesto Roma Junior has already addressed the rumours: “First of all, we have to consider whether Inter want to sell Gabigol. Doors are always open for him, I think he prefers a return to Santos than a move to Las Palmas.”
