Urijah Faber’s farewell fight was memorable in more ways than one. The Team Alpha Male patriarch pocketed an event-high $320,000 for his unanimous decision victory over Brad Pickett ($40,000) at UFC on Fox 22 “VanZant vs. Waterson” on Saturday at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. Faber made nearly five times as much as the show’s headliners did combined: Michelle Waterson brought home $30,000 after choking Paige VanZant ($43,000) unconscious in the main event.“The California Kid” announced his plans to retire prior to the bout and largely dominated Pickett across three rounds.
