Two-time winner Adrian Lewis sneaked through his World Darts Championship opener on Monday despite missing an array of doubles.
Lewis registered a 3-0 first-round win over Magnus Caris but will need to improve his doubling if he is to threaten the latter stages of a tournament that he won consecutively in 2011 and 2012.
