Brock Osweiler Comments on Benching, Tom Savage’s Performance vs. Jaguars

The Houston Texans finally reached their breaking point with Brock Osweiler Sunday.
The high-priced quarterback was benched in favor of Tom Savage, and the 2014 fourth-round pick responded by leading the Texans to a 21-20 come-from-behind victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After the game, Osweiler admitted his teammate had “played a phenomenal game,” per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Savage finished 23-of-36 for 260 passing yards and no turnovers. Osweiler went 6-of-11 for 48 yards and two interceptions before exiting with a 13-0 deficit.
“As a competitor, any time you don’t play well of course, there’s disappointment,” the Osweiler added. “You feel like you let them down.”
