Vorlova and Jenkins upset local favourites

Lausanne, Switzerland, December 18, 2016 – Michaela Vorlova of the Czech Republic and Christie Jenkins won the opening tournament of the Australian Beach Volleyball Tour with victory over Nikki Laird and Becchara Palmer at the New South Wales Open on Sunday.
Vorlova and Jenkins beat the two Australian Olympians 2-0 (21-19, 21-13).
