The Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, on Saturday was the site of UFC on Fox 22, an event headlined by a strawweight battle between Paige VanZant and Michelle Waterson. It also marked the final time the MMA world saw hometown hero Urijah Faber compete in the cage, as “The California Kid” called it a career after taking on Brad Pickett. The assortment of walkout songs that brought the fighters to the cage was as varied as the combatants themselves. VanZant chose Flo Rida’s “My House” ahead of the main event, while Waterson went with Avicii’s “Feeling Good” in representing the Jackson-Wink MMA camp for the second time inside the Octagon.
