Talib: Champion Broncos still getting no respect

Aqib Talib is going old school, taking a page out of the Rodney Harrison playbook and declaring that no one respects the current Super Bowl champs even though, you know, they’re the current Super Bowl champs.
“We still have conversations about our respect level,” Talib said, according to the Denver Post’s Troy Renck. “We still don’t feel like it’s there. I don’t know why. You all do all the writing and all the talking, and there a lot of questions, stuff about our performance. We still have a chip. We are going to make it a period instead of a question mark.”
Hey, whatever gets you motivated. The reality is that even though the Broncos’ top-ranked defense lost playmakers Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan to free agency, it remains one of the best units in the league. There is no lack of respect for that group.
