LeBron to pass Jordan with 180th playoff game

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — When the ball is tipped for Game 2 of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ first round series with the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, LeBron James will log his 180th career playoff game, passing Michael Jordan’s career total of 179.
What does it mean to James, in his 13th season, to be passing Jordan, who played 15 seasons, in playoff experience?
“That he closed out series faster than me,” James said with a smile following the Cavs’ shootaround Wednesday morning.
James declined to compare and contrast his playoff career with Jordan’s in further detail.
“Obviously I know my focus is not on that right now to be able to harp on that conversation, which we can dive into that at a later time,” James said.
