Lausanne, Switzerland, December 16, 2016 – Stanislav Shevchenko will remain president of the All-Russia Volleyball Federation for the next four years, following the body’s General Assembly which renewed the mandate of the FIVB Board of Administration member and CEV (European Volleyball Confederation) Vice-President.Shevchenko, a former international player for the Soviet Union, has been president of the All-Russia Volleyball Federation since 2010 and is joined on the new Board of Administration by such legends as former National Team coaches for women Nikolay Karpol and men Gennady Shipulin as vice-presidents.
