J’CovanBrown 26-year old point guard J’Covan Brown (188-PG-90) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Pinar Karsiyaka and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.He had the game-high 36 points adding four assists for Pinar Karsiyaka in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Umana VE (6-3) with 40-point margin 99-59. Pinar Karsiyaka is placed at 2nd position in their group in Basketball Champions League group B. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Pinar Karsiyaka will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. In the team’s last game Brown had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Pinar Karsiyaka’s top player in his first season with the team. The University of Texas graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league’s top in points (6th best: 17.0ppg) and averages solid 51.3% from behind 3-point line.Second best performed player last round was Nik Slavica (201-F-97) of Cibona.
