Basketball Champions League – Brown’s 36-point game gives him Player of the Week award

J’CovanBrown 26-year old point guard J’Covan Brown (188-PG-90) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Pinar Karsiyaka and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.He had the game-high 36 points adding four assists for Pinar Karsiyaka in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Umana VE (6-3) with 40-point margin 99-59. Pinar Karsiyaka is placed at 2nd position in their group in Basketball Champions League group B. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Pinar Karsiyaka will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. In the team’s last game Brown had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Pinar Karsiyaka’s top player in his first season with the team. The University of Texas graduate has very impressive stats this year.
