Phelan: January signings needed

Hull manager Mike Phelan says he is assessing his options ahead of a crucial January transfer window for the club.
The Tigers sit 19th in the Premier League following a spell of just one league win in 11 games, and Phelan admits reinforcements are needed in the New Year.
“There have been lots of phone calls,” said Phelan. “The phone bill is going through the roof. We’re watching a lot of players.”
Hull brought in Ryan Mason and Will Keane during the summer but their activity elsewhere in the transfer market was limited.
