Hughes ready to spend in January

Stoke boss Mark Hughes has revealed he is ready to spend in January in order for the Potters to kick on.
Stoke 12th in the Premier League and have endured a frustratingly inconsistent season.
Hughes shelled out £13m on Joe Allen in the summer and last season the club paid £18.3m for Giannelli Imbula.
Ahead of the January window, the Stoke manager revealed the club are looking at several targets.
“I’ve always got a list. That doesn’t change throughout the year,” said Hughes.
“We’re constantly looking at opportunities and agents will be calling over Christmas I’m sure.
“January isn’t an easy time to go into the market. We’re not looking for squad players, we’re looking at players to have an immediate impact.
