Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be receiving an early Christmas present, with Danny Welbeck set to return to full training.
England international forward Welbeck has not played since May when he suffered cartilage damage in his knee 24 minutes into a 2-2 draw with Manchester City, an injury that forced him to miss Euro 2016.
The 26-year-old had been expected back in training around the turn of the year but Wenger says he will now be back working with the first-team squad in the next week.
